When Theatreguide.London began in 1999 we were the first and only website offering authoritative reviews of London Theatre. Our reviewers were not just fans, but professional critics who wrote for a variety of print publications, almost none of which had an online presence, and who took this opportunity to reach the larger online readership. (Click here to meet our critics)

Since then several other online review sites have appeared and most newspapers and magazines have their own websites.  So, to some extent, our job is done. But this archive of more than 4000 reviews remains of value to the student, the researcher, the theatre artist and anyone just wanting to be reminded of a show once seen.

Our London reviews are indexed by genre:  DRAMAS, MUSICALS and COMEDIES, with separate indexes for EDINBURGH  and ONLINE THEATRE.

We have also retained useful pages offering current guidance to THEATRE WEBSITES, FRINGE THEATRES, OUT-OF-LONDON THEATRES, FAMILY SHOWS, and TICKET BUYING.
